Mold AT Manatee Bay Elementary

There are 245 comments on the browardnewsnetwork.blogspot.com story from Feb 18, 2013, titled Mold AT Manatee Bay Elementary. In it, browardnewsnetwork.blogspot.com reports that:

Parents have been complaining about the corruption in Manatee Bay Elementary to the Superintendent, the School board and the School Police. It seems that "someone" is covering the corruption! But is NOT admissible to have the students in a school that is falling apart. There is visible mold, the walls are falling apart, the school is filthy, when are the School Board Members and Superintendent going to take action to all of the complains and do something about it? Mold is VERY dangerous and NOBODY should be expose to it especially little children. We also notify the Superintendent and school board members that the principal violated the Jessica Lungsford Act, by allowing private companies that where not badge and clear by the school district to work with our children and endangering our children. Who is covering for her and why is she getting away after parents have given evidence to the Superintendent, School police and School Board Members. WESTON IS A 65% HISPANIC COMMUNITY WE DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DON'T HAVE A HISPANIC PRINCIPAL AND THE ONLY LATIN AP IN WESTON IS ON MEDICAL LEAVE AND SHE WAS THE ONLY GOOD THING MANATEE BAY HAD. Temperate climates are thought to be the most pleasant to live in as they do not usually have extremes of hot or cold. Only 7 per cent of the Earth's land surface has a temperate climate, yet nearly half the world's population lives in these areas.

A wind that blows as fast as the fastest man can run (43 kmph/27 mph), is only a 'strong breeze' on the Beaufort Scale. A wind as fast as a running cheetah (113 kmph/70 mph), the world's fastest animal, registers as a 'storm'.

And the OSCARS go to Manatee Bay for having the most corrupted Principal in the history of Broward County Schools.
She has stolen in two schools and continues to steal.
At Lauderdale Manors she told us there was a piano missing. But in fact, we found out there were scanners, technology, laptops, MACs, Valentine fund raiser monies, monies not unaccounted for, etc. They were going to put her in a discipline process plan but covered it up by placing her at our school. Here she told many of us how much money our school made in donations and then she started stealing along with the PTA President who interesting is no where to be found and left right away after she found out it was reported to SIU.
We have spoken to the teachers at her other school and they told us what she did there and how she ruled with fear and wrote them up. They had a party the day she left.
We are just stuck in this corruption and can't get out because she will bully us. We really do care about our school and our students, she came here to destroy our school.
She know is begging us to support her or else she will retaliate. We don't know what to do anymore. We can't speak to other teachers because she said she was watching us through the cameras, so we are all scared to talk.
Faculty Council is not working because the one handling it is scare of her. She called him once and told him off because he brought the union to her but did not notify her so now he doesn't stand up to her so basically we are not represented by anyone.
There are only a very few that defend her and those are the ones that are in the corruption with her and still getting paid. They will all be subpoena according to what we've heard and then they will have no choice but to tell the truth.
This is an embarrassment to us and the School Board.
The rest of us are truly dedicated teachers who love our job and our students.
Mr. Runcie, please help us.

About speaking to the "old school"
about speaking to the new schooll
about speaking to anyone
Speak already
Scream
Shout
say what's on your mind
Just remember that calling someone out because they are Jamaican or Hispanic or Jewish or whatever else, is stepping over the line
It's racist and uncalled for
Anything you have to say after that is well
Unimportant.
That's why:
Did you know that it's about 1 degree in Montana now?
It's about 84 in Weston

Just because a school has a high population of latin people does not mean that they have to have a latin principal. That's like saying, because there are more black students at a school, they should have a black principal or if there are more whites, they should have a white principal. That is a racist and unrealistic statement. We are in the 21st century. Stop teaching hate and prejudice to our children.

"Based on our review, we could not substantiate any of the allegations pertaining to missing funds, missing documents or other questionable transactions made by the parents and staff of Manatee Bay Elementary School that were directed against the former PTA President, several PTA members, several school employees, the After School Care Provider vendor and the current Principal."
