Parents have notified the Broward County School Police of the corruption in Manatee Bay Elementary in Weston Fla. The PTA and the Principal send a letter Sept 2012 that they no longer would do catalog sales that they would do the duck donations parents that would donate $50 the kids would go to a mega party, parents that would donate $100 kids would go to a mega party. It is illegal to exclude kids because the parents cannot afford to donate $100 and the principal was advised that parents where not happy about it and she promised the parents that she would include all the children. Oct 31,2012 Manatee Bay had the Mega party it was during school hours and ONLY the children that paid $100 where allow to go to the cafeteria and enjoy the party with the Miami Heat getting souvenirs, pizza and dance. The kids that parents send cash did not get invited since any cash that goes into Manatee Bay disappears. That is DISCRIMINATION, what do we want to teach our children? that ONLY the children that parents have money can go to parties and enjoy the school? do we want the kids to be separated the rich kids and the poor kids they have to be punish because the parents cannot afford to donate $100 is that a good example?

Lions can reach speeds of up to 81 kph (50 mph) but only in short bursts because of a lack of stamina.

"Why is Mr. Allison harassing us by asking us unprofessional questions about staff? Stop violating the Code of Ethics. We are your colleagues, not your enemies. You are defending a corrupt principal just because she is Jamaican like you!!!!!"

See you lost me right there.
1. You attack a colleague
2. You accuse him of being "Jamaican"
What's wrong with being "Jamaican?"

Factoid Message:
That's hate speech
It's racist.
Hope u understand that.

There is no reasoning with this person or persons. They are accusing people of harassing them while they themselves are attacking their colleagues and using racist language against them. They say we need to stick together, while they hide behind a nameless blog, spreading lies. I tried reasoning with them, but they don't care about truth. They are cowards with an agenda to destroy the career and reputations of any that stand up against them.

Let them wallow in the dirt where they belong! We don't need to engage them - the more they type, the more idiotic and pathetic they show themselves to be. While they display their contemptibleness for all to see, we can remain positive and support our colleagues. In that spirit, I wish to say:

Mr. Allison, you are the true professional and gentleman. You were among the first to stand up to support your coworkers, and I have no doubt that is why these cowards are harassing you. We know the truth and are proud to stand beside you!

Once a year, thousands of Floridians stand at the state line and toss dead fish into Alabama. It's the annual Mullet Toss hosted by Flora-Bama Beach Bar in Pensacola.

As a long time member on the PTA board and part of the oversight committee to monitor and determine fairness at MBE for years ( though I now live in another state), I want to tell you that you need to get your facts straight as noted several comments above. The amount of thought and discussion that goes into planning these things each year is unbelievable!! Yes, I worked as well, but still found time to contribute, greatly, I might add, to the process of making decisions to benefit the children. It was sooooo very frustrating when the only thing we heard year after year were complaints from all the people not pleased with some decision we made- and of course those were the parents who just wanted things handed to them without ever contribution one single thing... and of course SCREAM discrimination for every little thing the silver platter didn't contain. But, this is the society that South Florida has created, I am so glad YOU live there and can continue to complain about things that in the long run are ridiculous and over valued. Being a part of that PTA board was the most difficult non-paying job I have ever had, thanks to people like you. Thank goodness my life has allowed me to now live thousands of miles away from there and your type... here we actually discuss things with parents that seem to make a real difference each and every day of the school year-- and guess what? NO parties, no fund raising and not once has the "D" word ever been spoken. Amazing and refreshing.
