Right now it is so hard for pharmacies to get roxis, and they are so expensive when they do get them, that they raise the price up. Most places that happen to get some roxis will sell them for twice as much as they used to, and they will sell out within a few hours.
Because of the higher prices, insurance companies will not cover the pills anymore. When the whole shortage is over, and prices go back down, the insurance companies will start paying again. But for now, everyone is screwed.
This should be illegal, it should be price gouging on the part of the pharmacy and it should be neglegence on the part of the insurance company. But it isn't. The pharmacies have the rigth to increase their prices because they are mostly buying them from either other pharmacies or distributers who still have some in stock and want to charge more because of the demand. So the pharmacies for the most part aren't making that much more money, they have to pay more for them to start with.
And the insurance companies really aren't doing anything illegal because they pay a certain price for each medication, this is preset by the company before you ever go to the pharmacy to pick them up. Insurance companies get huge discounts on everything. But when you get to the pharmacy counter and they want $5 per pill, but the insurance company will only pay $1.50 per pill, they are going to deny the insurance and charge you out the ass because they know you need your pills and you will buy them even if it means you don't eat today.

What a wonderful world we live in.

Roxies are out there it just takes time and money to get them. Anyone coming from Tenn, or any other state into Fl to get them are obviously just trying to get drugs to get high. If you cant get them in your own state, you must not need them. Quit coming to FL junkies and taking all our meds we need to make money too. Anyone from other states coming into these clinics should be busted on site.

People go where they can get the best care. I don't agree with Dr. shopping and hitting multiple Dr.s But anyone can and should go where they can get the help they need. If it was not for Kentucky you could not get Fine Bourbon!!! It is the same thing.

Well it's refreshing to see your admission that you're not an "informed source" at all.
In fact you calling yourself 'Informed Source' is quite the oxymoron.

You should get a second opinion. Most people in here will stick with the IR's, I can't take anything.
