Sad that it took a tragedy to bring this to the public's attention but it's way past time to ban fishing from that bridge. Folks milling about in the dark while cars whizz past just inches away... 15-foot shrimp poles being stuck into traffic... A very bad situation that just needs to end.

Here we are almost two months later and officials have done nothing about fishing from that bridge. Idiots are now dragging lawn furniture out there and they continue to stick their stupid shrimp nets into traffic. I guess a few more need to get run over before decision-makers get the message!
