Find a real nude beach or private club to express yourself for crying out loud....the rest of us don't want to see, got it?

Who elected you to speak for "the rest of us"?

Find a real uptight beach, or a private club that requires you to wear clothing.

You're probably one of those guys who goes in the crapper stall and locks the door to take a leak.

I can't agree more. The last thing I want to see when I go to the beach with my kids is a saggy nut sack.

Playalinda Beach

Playalinda's nudity is well known: Some come because its a regular habit. Others come because they've heard about it. What have they heard? That Playalinda beach is one of Florida's few nude beaches. They heard correctly.

Playalinda is located within the Cape Canaveral National Seashore and is a federally owned beach. Whether by word of mouth or force of habit, this remote stretch of beach is well known as a nude beach.
Location, location, location: The four miles of road that follows the beach for four miles gives out at the north end of Lot 13 and north of dune crossover 13B is where the fun really begins. On one side you have fishermen wearing straw hats and most are clad from head to toe in jeans and t-shirts. On the other, you have people who aren't wearing a stitch of clothing happily baring everything with nothing left to the imagination.
Will I be offended?: Over a mile of sand you will see naked people tanning areas that normally don't see the light of day. In Foghorn Outdoors' Florida Beaches, authors, Parke Puterbaugh and Alan Bisbort, report that a typical Saturday at the beach was statistically populated by approximately 100 people 80% men and 20% women including gay men, true naturists and heterosexual couples.

You pretty much have to go out of your way to be offended, but if such activities typically offend you, don't go.

Big freakin deal, so some people want to run around nude. We been fighting about this playlinda beach nude business since the early 80's. The nude area is so remote it takes forever to get there. Why can't we just leave the poeple alone for once.

Saggy nut sack.....good one. I've been to playlinda once and believe me there are NO beautiful women out there. Most are older and saggy, men and women.

For being a free country we sure have a bunch of uptight prudes ruining freedom for the rest of us! we can only be free so long as it doesn't offend the sensibility of others? I don't see what the big deal is? I could see having a family beach for those who want don't want their children exposed to all peoples sagging parts, but other than that...

To all that oppose nudity: Simple, now that everyone knows that North Playalinda Beach is Nude, Mark it on your maps and stay away if you do not like nudity Keep your kids to yourself. If you must get involved then park at spot 13 cross over the dune, walk about 1 mile north in the hot sand take off your suit and enjoy. Otherwise shut up! Can't get any easier than this!
No there is not any nude models or movie stars at Playalinda Beach there now you have no reason to visit (just to check it out).

As long as the area is contained and designated for nudist, nobody should have a thing to complain about. Personally, I would want nothing to do with it, but if they are in the designated area, why should ANYONE have an issue with it?
If anyone does, then it's because they have some better than thou agenda and they associate the nudity at the beach with being against their religious beliefs or something. Well, I"m a Christian and they would be wrong if that is the case.

Get that.. " Remote access beach" and people are finding their way there to get offended. Go to most European beaches ,and you can see any stage of undress. Man are we an uptight bunch...Literally going to remote places to find 'sin'....and we think the radical Muslims are fanatics

If God has wanted us to be nude we would have been born that way! The county sanctioned, clearly marked, clothing optional area of Haulover Beach in Miami has worked well for years. It draws European and South American tourists and tourist dollars, year round. Most weekends and week days, it is the most populated beach in South Florida, except for the topless beaches (also legal) in Miami Beach. Brevard County is missing out on a great opportunity by not setting aside a legal, clothing optional area.

"Find a real nude beach..." That's hilarious, especially from someone living in Pinellas where they've turned down requests to create a remote nude beach for years. Some people just can't stand the fact that others want a little freedom.
