I support Ms. Meeks and the Coach - two fine people who really care about the kids in Breckinridge County!

I agree with this mom, and would sue the pants off anyone who baptised my kid without my knowledge or permission. The coach and Ms. Meeks should have used better judgment.

Maybe the mother should have been notified beforehand...but I doubt the kid was forced into the baptizing, it was obviously what he wanted.
It could have been worse....he could have been bused to a liquor store or strip club.
It could be possible she saw an oppurtunity to sue...and ran with it! Or it's possible she's athiest, which is fine if that's what she wants.But..if that is the case...she should let her child make up his own mind about religion. He could be into much worse things than this!!!!
I do find it odd that they were took to a revival on a school bus though.

Would you tell a Christian mother who's teen wants to become Wiccan that she should let the child make up their own mind?

Open your eyes to see the big picture. This is all about money and if you don't believe me, pay attention to the news! If he told his mother that he was going on a trip but failed to mention the "church" part of that then shouldn't she be mad at him? Such Crap!

I have thought this was about money all along! Some people look for any reason at all to sue someone.Sadly, that's what the world has become.
I feel like kids as they get older should make up their own mind about religion. My sister is a Christian who has an athiest teen. She respects his beliefs, prays for him, supports him and loves him unconditionally. It doesn't make her happy...but she loves him enough to let him make his own mind up!
I could see alll the hooplah if this coach took these kids somewhere to engage in illegal activities. This child wanted something different,or he wouldn't have been a part of it.
But I guess if the mom chose to respect and accept her son's choice, she wouldn't have the oppurtunity to sue someone!
