So so so so so glad Breckinridge County is a dry county. I know there are a lot of folks who drink way too much alcohol in the county, but I like NOT having to pass all the 'joints' and ugly advertisements as I drive through my county.

And, it's really too bad and so sad that there is so much 'meth' activity in the area and surrounding counties. So sad!

I, for one, wish we had the tax revenue off of alcohol sales. We may not have ugly advertisements in Breckinridge Co, but I have a lot less wear-and-tear on my vehicles in Meade Co because they have the money to repave their road systems. All our residents would be out a LOT less money in repairs and maintenance (not to mention an eventual reduction in property taxes like Hardin Co), so being a dry county is costing us ALL.
