I can tell you this. Chris Hill is involved in this in some fashion having the ideal place to dispense liquor at his "Chills" gas station there in Indian hills. Personally I am for package sales but not doing it precinct by precinct in this fashion. I also do not think the people in this end of town want this other than the ones over in the public housing area. I suspect the signatures came from there anyway. Chris hill has done enough to harm Danville, don't give him and these two rubes the opportunity to do more harm!!!!!

I signed it and I AM NOT FROM PUBLIC HOUSING! And a lot of people I know that signed are not from public housing. I don't care who is involved. I very rarely drink but if i do I want to be able to stay in my town and not have to drive 60 miles to get it!
This is 2008 prohibition has been over for many years!!
I just wish the 2 nice young gals would come back through our neighborhood after working hours so they can get a lot more signatures.

oh ezduzit, I bet you would like to give those two young gals more than some more signatures. lOL. You know you live in heather hills no need to be ashamed. Even if you are in Williamsburg village its still that section 8 area. Never understood building a half million dollar house in the "hood"9697 As for the distance, next time use your trip meter to and from the nearest liquor store in Nicholasville, it's hardly 60 miles round trip.

EXCUSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE me I am a female and the sweet young ladies are NOT GEARED RIGHT FOR ME!!! And no I do not live in Heather Hills. I am a home owner who pays dearly in taxes. And if you think the upper end of Seminole Trail is in the "hood" then my dear I am guilty as charged!
And excuse me if my mileage is off. I guess you thought I was male because as we all know the male species stretches measurements!

Can you pick me some up? I don't feel like driving the approximately 40 miles to Nicholasville or Lawrenceburg tonight. I'm about tired of that drive. Let me know.

I meant to say the 40 miles round trip to either of those places. I didn't want you to think that I was stretching any measurements. Anyway, let me know.

Well gang they got enough signatures to qualify for the ballot, so as soon as we have a new Judge Exec. It will be placed on the ballot. All sarcasm aside, I make that drive too and I bitch about it as well as you do. I simply question the populace of this community and those of ajoining counties abilities to handle package sales. I do not object to this on moral grounds. Ez I was only kidding you about the "hood" I live on this end of town too. I don't want all our quality of life to suffer.

Great! I don't want our quality of life to suffer either. I am from a major city and liquor store areas are more heavily patrolled. Old Crow had a great business and it went well.
We don't want to be like the gentleman from Old Bridge and be so pompous as to keep out the "unsavory element"! Most people work long hard hours in this sweet little town and having to make that drive for a 6 pack is dreadful. Besides we need the revenue to support all the illegals.

I too do not want just package liquor stores on that side of town. I would much prefer to be able to go to the local Kroger and purchase my favorite bev. I find it ridiculous to have to drive to Nicholasville and let that county rack up the dollars in liquor sales tax. I really think it is time for the city to come to the age of the millenium. The howtie towties don't mind having the alcohol at the Brass Band Festival seeing that this year's theme is "BOURBON and BRASS." We need to get our heads out of our butts and come into the 21st century.
