Police: 2 children deliberately starved

Police in Danville have charged a couple with allegedly starving two children in their care.

Odd that no one has commented on this. I saw a picture of the kids' mother. That hag didn't look like she missed any meals.

Yeah...its like really hush hush isnt it....where are the roving reporters?...wasnt big momma only 25 yrs old?...and the kids were like 10 and 12?? So were they foster children...adopted...biologica l. There just doesnt seem to be any news coverage at all...It seems as though the Danville newspaper would want to find out.

I saw that fat heifer getting into an ambulance at the court house cause she was to fat to fit in a police car. From the court room that day she and her husband moved from Virginia around a year ago and she is the step mom (Ha).Don't think the news have gotten wind of this as of yet but if you go online to wlextv.com you can report this. It's been on the news every day since Friday. The 5 0'clock and 11 0'clock. It was also in the Danville paper on two days that I can remember. It clearly said in the paper and on the news though that details were being withheld while the investigation insues. Be patient, you'll have plenty of opportunities to bash them when the details are made public.

I think that the fact both parents are individually held on $100,000.00 bonds tells me there is more here than we know yet. Some murder suspects don't have the bond set that high. We have been deluged with this story minus the facts for several days now so I am sure there is much forthcoming.

Apparently your parents deprived you of an education. If you read the articles then you would have read Charles and Virginia HOLSINGER. Not too many holsingers in the US I wouldn't guess. Also yes I am defending them. I will ask again does anyone want pictures of the kids. I have them from just a few days before they were taken. The one one who is skinny is on medication for brain damage from an accident in 2000. I have given food to starving Irqui children, and on Operation Jump Start to starving dehydrated mexican children. Do you think I would let my own nephews starve? By the way I am not a Sarge I am a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force and I am quite certain I have earned that title.

I saw these children right after this became public knowledge and it was not a pretty sight!!!! No 12 year old little boy should weigh 45 lbs brain injury or not!! His little bony body looked horrible. And his step mother, well you could tell that cow never missed a meal. Reguardless of what the court decides these children arn't safe with either parent. For argument sake, if it was the medication the boy was on causing him to be so thin, why didn't the parent address this with a pediatrician or nutritionist? If they are so concerned and loving then this wouldn't be an issue!

Do you have the facts? Testimony at the hearings, Blood tests revealed that the 12 year old had not eaten in days. There were many animals in the home that were not cared for and the children were forced to live in the waste. Their punisment was to stand in the same room that had a strong scent of urine. It also states if the children said they were hungry they were told they were not going to get anymore food.Do you really want to make public you are related in blood to this????Are you aware,by law, you are not permitted to share the photos of minors as you have offered???

You are correct in assuming that my parent...not "parents" deprived me of a proper education Sir. I actually dropped out of high school in the tenth grade Sir. I am unworthy to wipe the mud from your boots Sir.
What my parent did teach me though , was love, acceptance.....and plenty of beans and taters. Everything else that I know....."and it aint much" has been learned at the school of hard knocks.
To answer your question...no....I do not want pictures of the children. To offer them , may, or may not be legal. I am not sure, since I never quite made it to law school. Actually , I dont give a damn if its legal or not...it is certainly in my humble and uneducated opinion...tacky...irresponsibl e...uncouth....and to put it in hillbilly terms Ssgt. What a negative attitude that you have. I dont know what has made you so cynical and bitter, but I am truly sorry for you. You may fill your hands with shit and honor. Ok, would you please like to tell me where in my comment I said that these two people DON'T deserve to be bashed? If they are guilty of what they are being accused of then they deserve anything and everything that they get. I think that I clearly said, there is an investigation going on and when details (aka facts) are discovered then they will be made public. Then you can have your time to bash them. Until then none of us know exactly what the facts are. Does this make sense to you?
