He looks good for being "Tasered". He's in a heap of trouble. Just ask Mitch Cozad!

Butters: Blaming it on knives is likely blaming my pencil for misspellings.

IT's good to see that people pay attention to what they see. The kid on the stretcher is the student who was stabbed, not the one tasered.

The pic of the suspect wasn't taken after the attack on the student today.

Why was he released from the mental hospital if he has been aquitted several time by reason of insanity? Man, now what, attempted murder dropped because he has lost it? NO, he needs to sit in that padded room for the rest of his life!

When are we going to have a verdict for "guilty but insane", instead someone that should be still hospitalized or jailed is out on the streets hurting other people.

I feel bad for that young kid. Worked his butt off in high school, goes to Boulder and gets stabbed his first day. I hope the co-eds give him some sympathy make-out parties! Beat the perp up and take his freedom forever. Anyone that commits random acts as this needs to be in prison. No second chance.

You can be acquitted more than once by reason of insanty? And you can imagine his parents' reaction? We are paying out of state tuition for our son to attend CU and on the first day he gets knifed in the back of the neck. Ugh.

"...several acquittals by reason of insanity."

Oh, he's a danger to himself and those around him, but it's just because he's insane so we'll let him go.

29 cents = no more detriment to society.

We need to outlaw steak knives. There is not good use for such an instrument of terror. Let's call them assault knives, their only use is to tear flesh. In Boulder I'm sure that is an act of violence.

Maybe he isn't on any meds? Could it be he can't afford them or to crazy to be allowed to look after himself. Why do mental hospitals let these guys out when they know they are going to fail?
