Karr is nobody's fool. He got a business class flight back to the USA and plenty of publicity on government expense. Now he can do the talk show circuit and write a book about his experience.

The only people surprised by this are the media. It was all hype from the get-go.

Ithink he should be put into "Gen Pop" in a Colorado Prison, just for being the media freak he is.

If he went into gen pop, he'd be everybody's b**** because he is kinda cute in a womanly sort of way.

Didn't that runaway bride chick have to pay for reporting falsely that she was kidnapped. Isn't being a freak for kids a crime (in any country?) Did anybody see the Movie Midnight Express? I know it was just a movie, but even still, if Karr got in trouble in Thailand, and he went to jail, if jail conditions are similar, I just might falsely confess too to get the heck outta there. Well, I guess we gave him a free ride for real - at tax payer expense! And all of the other "officials" who had to ride with him. There's our gov't. Egg on our face! Again! Hey, now why don't we start a war with Thailand for ......harboring our unwanteds.

I say bravo to John Karr for working our system and getting his behind out of a Thailand prison. It sure ain't his fault if our media and government are stupid. Plus I don't think those suits suffered too much. All involved seemed to eat up the attention.
