Shoot that praire dog

It makes me sick to hear all of the Boulderites bitch about a few praire dogs. When was the last time you took a walk on open space and actually saw a parcel of land that wasn't completely gopher grazed? I for one am all for recreational shooting of praire dogs when performed responsibly. It makes me sick to think that they will waste so much money poisoning the things when a .22 bullet costs 5 cents. It is obvious to me and a handful of realistic Boulder citizens that there are far too many of the critters ruining our open space land. We need to shoot them!

But they are so cute! I think it's cool when they vacuum them out. It's like a thrill ride to them I bet.
Yea,prarie dogs make holes that your kiddies break their ankles with but....look how cute they are!
Shooting is fine actually if your gonna git home and say "HONEY! I GOT DINNER!" but you know momma prarie dog's gonna lay there all dead and the kiddies will be tramatized for life just looking for a vendetta.
Then there's gonna be a war.
Do you really want to start a war?
When they stand up all cute like that,do you know what they are actually doing? They are generating invisible forces, man. Yea. Don't mess with them. Their wrath is most powerful.

Prairie dogs are WAY overpopulated... I have a couple .22's they are relatively quiet, and cant do much damage, but still sufficient to take out a prairie dog... I say we get some freelance prairie dog hunters together, make sure they take gun safety and have a suitable representative of parks and open space watch them and tally their kills... we need to keep them under control.. but not exterminate them... who cares how cute they are!

You so seldom see one problem able to solve another problem.

I wonder if prairie dogs like sugar? I wonder what McDonalds is doing with the old McFlurry lids?

Can McDonalds branch out into pest control?

Freelance prairie dog hunting! I'm diggin it! Shit, think of all the people who would love to get some guns off and help out with a serious public problem. I mean, they could have Sat. morning kids only shoots, trophies and prizes for the biggest 'dog! In all seroiusness though, it is a good idea and could be easily implimennted any where else but Boulder county. I would love to see the all crazy praire dog rights groups freakin out.

It would actually be cool to shoot a prarie dog with a bee bee gun while it's standing up generating energy. Then it would just teeter to the floor all stiff.
But be warned. Their vendetta is REAL.

On riverdale road a few years ago before they straightened out that road where the road used to curve in I saw the most amazing site. Bald eagles and hawks snagging them prarie dogs for their young!
That was the most amazing site I had ever seen.
