I have been suffering with the flu, and I believe the Swine Flu, since Thursday am. It has not been a mild course....don't let them tell you that. Lots of fever and chills, aches and pains, along with nausea and vomiting. Presetly my temp 102.3...and the highest I've had was 103.8 when I took Ibuprofen. You are litteraly incapacited and I go from bed to couch and back again. anybody with flu smytoms please comment as they are not reporting this on Flustar.com . It is out there and will put you down in a hurry.

My husband also suffered these same symptoms last week. The fever & chills were horrid! Those symptoms & the many others put him in the bed for 3 days. He started out with a 2 day headache that he thought was a migraine. On the second day of the headache, the sore throat, fever, chills, loss of appetite, & lethargy began. Then, 2 more days of the fever, chills, etc. It was about 7 days bfore he was up & about. Our entire family had the flu about 4 years ago & there's not a doubt in my mind that this was the flu as well. Who knows...could have been the H1N1, he was honestly too sick to sit in a doctor's office. Just a little over a week before he began with his symptoms, our next door neighbors had the same symptoms...all with fevers over 103!! It went through their family of seven...putting four of their five children in the bed for almost a week. BAD...NO, HORRIBLE EXPRIENCE!

Thanks OUCH for sharing your comments with me. I've had the flu at least 3 times before and this time has been much the same, but I don't remember having high fevers lasting so long. Temps past couple of days have gone as high as 104, including today at 4 PM and it takes several hours to get it down. If it doesn't start turning around tomorrow, I'm scared it may be something else. I haven't had the runny nose, sneezing or sore throat or unusual cough, other than drier now. Haven't been out of the house since last Thursday for fear of infecting someone else and also because of extreme fatigue and weakness. It's all I can do is the very basics for survival. My niece, an ER nurse say they are flooded with flu cases right now, most without insurance. Well. I don't have the insurance either even though I'm an RN doing private duty and can't afford it, and can't afford to be sick. Scares me to death sometimes, but there is nothing left for me to do.
Thanks again for your comments. Tomorrow is a new day, even though the last six has been pure hell.
Take care, and hope all is well with you and your family.

Daily Horoscope for November 28

Pisces

You might feel edgy as the sensitive Moon remains in your second house of personal values and finances. Protecting your assets and defending your values may become an issue; try not to get into a needless power struggle with someone over personal differences. On the positive side, this is a great day to throw yourself into your work. The powerful emotional energy will help you get the job done.
