A bitter four-year battle for the ownership of the former Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church on 16th Street came to an end Friday in Blair County Court with a ruling keeping the building in local hands.

It is so sad to see other churches facing the same problems we have in TEC with internal divisions and property disputes.
Christ Jesus was right to say no man can serve to masters. Materialism is a block to our spiritual development.
