County restores access road

It is a crime to trespass, and the last thing we want to do is open that road up and have to prosecute people for trespassing on private property. A Park County road that has been closed to the public for more than a decade has been reopened, restoring easier access to thousands of acres of public land near Cody. via Casper Star-Tribune

BEING BORN AND RAISED HERE AT 32YRS OLD I'M VERY DISAPPOINTED. THE ROAD IS HARDLY PASSABLE WITH A CAR. THERE ARE SO MANY "NO TRESPASSING" SIGNS THAT WE CAN ONLY ACCESS ONE AREA THAT IS FENCED OFF AND IS FOR FOOT OR HORSE TRAFFIC. THERE IS A GREAT DEAL OF HISTORY SUCH AS THE RINGS AND CRATERS AND NO WAY OF KNOWING IF YOU'RE TRESPASSING. IT BASICALLY TELLS ME THAT THE COUNTY HAS BEEN HIDING BEHIND ALL THIS AND WON'T FIGHT FOR OUR PROPERTY AND HISTORY!
