Man, what is with all of the stories of late on dirty cops? I mean, we know they are not all angels or anything, but wow. I guess if they were not being caught with their hands in the proverbial cookie jar, it would be harder to clean things up...

So now we have collusion, deceit, interferring with an investigation etc.. This guy shold also be hung out to dry as he is not trustworthy and lies. He deserves to be fired. Why should we pay him to not do his job?

Just more of the corruption in soon to be ex-Governor Stricklands Administration. And just think, Strickland ran his campaign to clean up the corruption in Ohio Government. How many scandles does it take to be a failure? At least he is history.
Why are they letting these felons retire instead of finding them guilty and canning them?

More LE officials who are less than honest. Kasich will fix this problem on day one. The union thugs protect these law breakers. No more.

These Patol officials are appointe from the sworn rank and file of the Patrol. This is not a Strickland problem. Where would you have Strickland or any Governor appoint them from? Be quiet and speak to matters you have knowlege of such as stocking the cans at the grocery store you work at.

Ex-guard sentenced for having sex with inmates
Sunday, December 12, 2010 11:26 PM
By Holly Zachariah
The Columbus Dispatch

A former guard has been sentenced to 24 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of having sex with inmates when he worked at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville.

Union County Common Pleas Judge Don Fraser sentenced Willie E. Mapp, 54, on eight felony counts of sexual battery last month.

"You were entrusted by the citizens of the state of Ohio to hold a position of trust," Fraser said. "Instead, you chose to violate the trust, and you used your position to compel three victims to submit to sexual conduct."

Authorities say that Mapp threatened three inmates with consequences such as solitary confinement if they didn't perform oral sex on him in a staff bathroom.

Mapp was a corrections officer at the prison from 1997 until July 2004, when the allegations surfaced. The case dragged on for years because authorities had trouble tracking down some of the former inmates. Why is the dispatch leaving this comment page up for state patrol story but did not leave comment page up for the story about the ex-guard yesterday? They are equally important!
