They were both friends of mine to and her parents too but this is a good example why you should never drink all day at the lake and then try to drive in for Cigarettes. She made a terrible and very sad Mistake.

i still miss her every day. she was my little sister... words cannot descripe what i go through every day.. but it is a good lesson please do not drive when you are under any influence i dont care what it is becasue you never know what will happen or where and always make sure that your loved ones know every time they leave that door that whether they come back or not that there was no doughtthat yo loved them

I was working ER that night when they brought Carissa in. Beautiful little girl. My youngest daughter was about the same age. Same hair, same eyes. Has haunted me since. I cried for her that night. When the funeral home picked up her body, they left a long stem red rose on the gurney. I took that rose and put it on the dash of my pickup to serve as a reminder that no matter what my kids do, no matter what kind of trouble they get in to, it could be worse. That rose is still there. God bless u all!!
