There is a Church near where I live called Brand New Church. I watch all the sermons online and the other day come across what they call freechurchridereport.com . This Church has made some skits that are like the freecreditreport.com ads. They call it freechurchridereport.com , at the end of each skit, something is said that concerns me. They say "white buckets are fixing to be passed don't let the person next to you give more than you do". This sounds like a contest to me. Is this a proper thing to be said to a congregation in a church?

People in the Mt. Home area need to know just what a sorry person O'Dell really is. He stole lots (and I do mean a lot of MOney) of money from Southside Baptist Church - funds left by a man in memory of his parents for the upkeep and continuation of the church - and O'Dell took the money and closed the doors.......started his own little cult now called BNC....better known to the area as Bring 'N Cash; Bergman New Cult and Etc.
Stay away from this fake......it's all about money, money and More MONEY.

He has the story right. I heard more so-called sermons about giving money in the 2yrs Shannon was at Southside than I had heard in all my years of attending Baptist churches. Him and his buds held meetings and votes when they were sure the deacons that didnt agree with them were out driving people home from evening services...underhandedness and money... money... more money...were the name of the game. The old timers didnt fight him, they assumed he would move on to bigger things. They had no idea he would close and hock the church they had attended their whole lives to feed his greed and desire to get in with the rich and powerful crowd.

BNC had an ammunition "show off" today and our community had to listen to the noise all afternoon.
Now, explain to me how shooting at the sky is a religious act. Money spent on bullets could have been used for alot of good deeds - feeding the hungry and helping a family whose Daddy was out of work.....but no, money was wasted on bullets.
THis church is all about "Showing Off".....not helping the community. When will people finally learn that BNC means Bring in Cash - Bergman New Cult......

Hey, wonder why the cult leader, Mr. O'Dell, didn't hold the gun show at his house instead of bothering all the community around his church??

I just heard that BNC's bus had a wreck with over 30 children aboard.......going to Branson to a show......happened on a straight stretch......tire blew out. You know, if they hadn't spent so much money for ammunition for their "SHowoff Skeet Shoot" they might have had money to buy good tires for the bus. Looks like they put lives at risk driving a bus with SLICK tires. WHere's O'Dell's brain?

Have you heard about the young man who stole $11,000 from BNC. Well, he had a master teacher!!
Mr. O"Dell STOLE several HUNDRED THOUSAND Dollara
from Southside Baptist Church,so this young man evidently took lessons from O'Dell!!!! WHat goes round, comes round!!! Couldn't happen to a more deserving cult.

Lisa, are you really suprised about that? I'm not. There are things going on in that church that is going to bust wide open one day soon. And it ain't gonna be pretty.

For people who are so concerned about being a christian and say that they are doing the right thing you ppl are very quick to judge and the funny thing is every person on this forum said I heard or did you here how lame is that if you are such a christian you are not the ppl that should be judging. Giving money is a way of showing your discipline to god doesn't matter if you can't give as much as the next person that is why there is a percentage. It is not our business to judge what happens to the money as long as you give for the right reason god will judge the person that spent the money either in a right way or wrong not me or any of you. You are quick to pick up on a lot of here say but not so quick to actually talk about things where they have actually helped hundreds and thousands of ppl whether it be a mercy mall that they give to the needy or a kid that needs shoes they try there best to help. My personal opinion of Shannon Odell the supposedly cult leader he has been nailing it perfectly maybe you should check it out for yourself or are you afraid of the person that sitting next to you might judge you are you just another click or just another scarecrow as Shannon puts it. Are you the closet person that who loves to just plain ol be nothing but just drama maybe ppl should look at there self for all this judgement you are casting out because just think about how much judgement will be put on you

I am actually quite offended about the things that are being said about BNC. Such as: shannon Mr. O'Dellis a cult leader. I went to this church last week. They are trying to help people in need. For example there mercy malls, and even families who can afford to eat, especially on thanksgiving. I also have a problem on my own and I had talked to someone there and they want to help me and my family anyway they can. I have heard people down talk others religion. but not churches. Either way its wrong I dont think any of you would like it if you were told the church you went to or go to is a cult. or anything like that. Only God can judge and he knows what truly is in everyone's hearts.

Kimberly, I know a boy who attends BNC. He comes to our high school every single day and judges people, telling them "You need to be Christian" and "You're going to hell" and then behind our backs he curses, and acts like it is ok for him to do that. And he acts like it is ok for him to judge US, but not for us to judge HIM. Maybe you guys need to change your agenda. You are only hypocrites justifying your own unjust actions.
