Oh I am sure there is something to the suit, or Baxter County would NOT have settled. Sometime, if you are truly innocent, it is worth a little money to prove, beyond a doubt, that you are right. But, Montgomery seems to have an issue with telling the truth. How about ex deputy Randy Weaver? He goes from the jail administrator, to the newest road deputy, to being terminated. And, sorry, but I don't buy your reason Montgomery. I happen to know a little about what happened behind the scenes, and I believe you need to be honest about it. Don't sugar coat it. You won the first election, because you were against the "good ole boy" system. Well, I believe it is alive and well at the BCSO. You all hire some of the most ignorant dispatchers I have ever heard on the scanner. One of your female dispatches, I believe is a Sgt. can not answer the radio without...10-9? Everything the deputies say to her on the radio she has to make them repeat. What happens when they key the radio and say shots fired...I've been hit? Will they be answered with 10-9? God I hope not. So sheriff, I ask you, will you be a man, and tell the tax payers exactly what Randy Weaver did to be demoted and terminated, or keep lying to them? Personally I would like to know why he isn't in jail with the people he treated like crap. Everyone knows he is a criminal.

Well, I am absolutely amazed, and somewhat happy that the Sheriff did the honorable thing, and told KTLO what actually happened with Randy Weaver. Of course, the WHOLE story wasn't told, but the biggest portion of it was. I guess, as far as politicians go, that is about all you can ask for. At least he somewhat laid it out for the public. I still feel there must have been some bit of guilt as far as Mr. Johnson was concerned, or the county would NOT have settled the suit for $20,000.00. Hell, maybe I need to go to jail, have someone crack my jaw and sue the county. I could pay off quite a few things with $20,000.00. IGNORANT! There goes some more county employee raises.

The sgt you were referring to is not a sgt...the sgt is way better then that!! She is actually the cpl. Just wanted to clarify bc I agree with you on the ignorant dispatcher part!!!!!

I just know...I have to apologize, you are absolutely correct, and I have to agree, she is a cpl, and I apologize, the sgt is an EXCELLENT jailer and dispatcher and anything else she has to do. That cpl needs to be terminated right along with the old jail administrator. She CANNOT dispatch, and I don't know about the rest of her employment standards, but I suspect from what I hear, the other employees show her up terribly.
