I see that you can't argue the legalities of why the cops ahd the right to talk, invesitgate, chase him. Wasn't that the point to begin with?

To my understanding, the gun was not pointed at anyone. I know the man, and can't see him shooting it out with the police. You can't believe everything you read in the newspapers. I've been told he was shot 8 times. Eight 40 cal bullets sound like overkill to me if you know how to aim.

Put yourself in that cops shoes. If someone points a gun at you, or even anywhere near you, you are going to shoot too. Maybe the guy didn't fall during the first 7 shots. Maybe the cop was a little shaken up because somebody was piointing a f'n gun at him. NONE OF US KNOW BECAUSE WE WEREN'T THERE!!!! All we have to go on is what the newspaper says.

Once again, you are assuming. The only thing the officer was protecting was his job. I know the people that WERE there. And no, I'm not going to shoot someone because they have a gun in their hands. If a shot was fired then of course I could understand returning fire, but that is not what happened.

So you were there? You know first hand what happened? Let me answer that for you...NO! So you're assuming too. You are making assumptions off of what the people that were SUPPOSEDLY there said. And if you're stupid enough to wait for somebody with a gun to shoot at you first before you shoot back, you're an idiot!

If you were there and you know this man so well, why didn't you tell him not to run? Why didn't you tell him it was dangerous to point a gun at ANYBODY and especially the police. I'm a civillian and if somebody points a gun at me, I'm unloading in them. It's called SELF DEFENSE adn we are ALL guarenteed that right by the Constitution whether you're the police or not is irrelevant!

Guilty you racist piece of shit, if only you could think for yourself instead of letting the media or the government do all the thinking for you. Of course YOU weren't there, because you stay on the internet posting your ignorant and irrelevant feelings all day. The fact remains that you are just a lonely blogger with no brain!

KARMA - Running from the police does not justify my friend's death. I promise you, he didn't run far before he was gunned down.

There he is! The douchebag we've all been waiting for. IF A SHOT WAS FIRED? THEN you'd shoot? On the prayer that that one shot doesn't kill the cop? You wouldn't make it as a cop with that "nobody wants to hurt me" mentality. Guess what, if I show up on a prowler call, somebody has a gun and they run towards somebodys house, my best bet is that they're looking for a hostage and guess what? Now you're a kidnapper/ home invader and you're in the commission of a forcible felony. Probably going to be a bad day to be a bad guy.

How do you know he wasn't putting the gun down? God knows that he didn't shoot at the cop. And he wasn't prowling you sorry asshole. The whole reason the police were called was due to the fact the he urinated in someone's yard. Not that he was looking for hostages. That's why you aren't a cop dumbass, because youre 'betting' on a man's life.

Pointing a gun at ANYBODY is an overt act and that justifies being SHOT!

He was pissing in front of kids YOU MAGGOT. My how this story would be so much different if he hadn't dropped his magainze and had no bullet in the chamber when he fired at the officer.

The only gun that was pointed was a Glock 22, so by your logic the officer should be executed. Piss on you and your kids, and everybody else on this forum. Ignorant drones.

I know he wasn't putting the gun down because sane people don't kill other people unless they have to to protect themselves. This deputy has had a psychological screening as part of the hiring process. I suggest you go get one too.

So since you seen all this, you should be expecting a interview/interrogation, background investigation, and eventually a subpeona. Good luck with your eye-witness account.
