Soldier's Wife Gives Birth Days After his Death

The family of a Barnwell County soldier killed in Iraq is celebrating the birth of his child.

I was so hearbroken when I heard this story. I am so, so sorry for the loss of your husband, father, son. A very brave man, doing what he wanted to do - to this I tip my hat. May his memories always fill y'all's hearts with joy & comfort. His spirit is now "flying missions" in Heaven, where I am sure he is holding his head high, knowing here on Earth is his new son, a beloved wife and loving family. May God provide some comfort to y'all during this difficult time. I am very proud of our men & women in uniform, no nation could ask for a better military.
