Its a disgrace that our local elected officials will cry about the (so-called) sad state of affairs by trying to blame the lack of money as the reason they had to let an alleged rapist free.
Looks to many of us that they would rather spend the money re-painting the sheriffs cars, installing camera systems at intersections, buying helicopter fuel and paying the sherrifs chief investigator $18,000 more a year than the previous investigator. Maybe these things are more important than a plane ticket for a rape victim.
