Wonderful! 4-doughnuts and a medium coffee and the bill was almost $7. They charge 99 cents for a doughnut. You can get a better doughnut at WalMart for 59 cents. The only thing getting Kremed at Krispy Kreme is the customer.

The best doughnut in the land ! The only problem with buying them at Wally World is they probably come from China. I have been there twice now and they have always been "packed", so there's a whole lot of people that don't agree with you...as usual.

I can't believe that you think that fresh doughnuts at WallyWorld come from China--even China can't make flour and water doughnuts and ship them to America cheaper than WalMart can make them in the backroom. As far as a whole lot of people liking to get Kremed at Krispy Kremes, you are right--they do like the doughnuts and I can understand that but, I like BMW Cars but I think they are over-priced and won't buy one. If others feel differently, they can spend their money on whatever they want--I'm just saying that I think Krispy Kremes is a rip-off price-wise. For less than $7.00, I can get a full breakfast at iHOP for what 4 doughnuts and a medium coffee costs me at at the Kremitorium.

If you go to Starbucks or any Coffee House the price would be more for the equivalent amount of product you buy, so I do think it's worth it and not over priced,as far as I-Hop goes, I have been there twice and won't return, service was horrible, and the food was not great.
I don't believe Wally World gets doughnuts from China, get real, than again I don't know, I dont do any business with Wally World at all, and as far as BMW'S being over priced, they probably are, but I bought one two yrs. ago and it is a fine Auto.

Well, I don't go to Starbucks for the same reason. As for iHop--the Foley iHop is the pits. Bad, bad service and nothing special except some different breakfast items that you can't get in other restaurants. I've been there off and on in the hopes that they would get their act in order but it hasn't happened. I'll go back in about 6-months and check again because I like iHop and am just sorry that the Foley iHop is so poorly run.

Wally World needs to stop letting the bakery case be self service. I have seen a certain element of our society stop by and get their kids donuts out of the case and let them eat them while the parents shop, finish up,throw the paper down, and don't pay. Same thing with fried chicken from the deli and bags of chips. They eat the food and ditch the container. I know they don't like a scene in the store but it's stealing plain and simple. It's time to stop or curtail this behavior and escort these thieves out of the store.

We have a lot of low-class people going to the Foley WalMart. Check-out the difference in clientele at Publix and at the WalMart in Gulf Shores. WalMart needs to clean-up the Foley store in more ways than one. They have got to start enforcing the rule that carts have to be returned to the proper areas on the parking lot. I have a ding in my car because of a loose cart. And, WalMart has got to stop people from stopping in the middle of the parking lot aisles while waiting for someone to load their groceries into their car and blocking the whole aisle for 5-minutes just because they want the space so that they don't have to walk another few feet. This is an ignorant action and shows no respect for other cars behind them that have to wait to get by. The Security Police should be monitoring these things and start moving people along and approach them when they leave their carts between cars just because they are too lazy to put them in the cart stalls. More and more, I am willing to pay more for groceries at Publix just so that I don't have to be bothered by the Rednecks at the Foley WalMart.

I am so glad they FINALLY put a store in Baldwin County. I grew up with Krispy Kreme and still love them. However, I have learned restraint over the years. I now only eat one and it is just once in a while.

I grew up with both Krispy Kreme and Dunkin Doughnuts. I would not trade one Dunkin Doughnut for a dozen Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. I wrote to Dunkin Doughnuts and told them to consider opening a shop in Foley. There are several in the area but none in Foley. Maybe my day will come.

If that is what it will take to get a doughnut with some body to it, I just might consider it. I'm not the kind of person who is willing to pay 99-cents for an air-filled puff-ball just because it is the southern thing to do. The only reason I'm still here is because I can get Little Debbie's.

Just got back from WalMart. 0ne-dozen of the finest doughnuts for $3.98. That's 33 cents each and not 99 cents that Krispy Kreme charges for a sugar-coated air ball.

Of course that is not true but even if it were, you can pay the premium for an American made pseudo-doughnut at Krispy Kreme and I will buy the real thing at WalMart for 1/3 the price. Some people never know or don't care when they are being taken for suckers; and, FastFred and other Krispy Kreme customers are excellent examples of those suckers. Fortunately, more and more people are realizing the Krispy Kreme scam now that the hoopla of opening day is over a week old. You can now go into the Krispy Kreme store any time and walk right up to the counter and get their over-priced doughnuts because the 1st time thinking customers are heading back to Walmart for their doughnuts. In fact, Krispy Kreme probably only has to run their doughnut machine about an hour each day to keep up with demand now that thinking people are not coming back to be ripped-off and being made fools of.

Krispy Kreme will always stay busy, people know what a good Doughnut is, and that would be "Krispy Kreme", or you can buy Doughnuts at a lower price that couldn't hold a candle to K.K,loosen up and let the "Moths" fly off some of that money you have and enjoy a real "Doughnut".

If I want an even better doughnut than WalMart has, I will travel to Panama Beach Florida and get a Dunkin Doughnut. I suspect that the only reason Dunkin Doughnut has not opened a store in Foley is that they know that the people here don't demand the best and are more than willing to pay more for less.

They won't open a store here because they can't compete wit K.K.

WalMart uses groceries and certain drugs as "loss leaders" selling at or near cost to get "WalMartians" in the store to buy their Chinese made crappy merchandise. Since Sam died, WalMart has turned from a speck to a full blown cancer on the American business scene.

Now I have a reason to shop in Wal-Mart, you'll be somewhere else.
