Despite oil spill, optimism still high for beach tourist season
Baldwin County's 2010 tourist season was projected to be one of the best on record before the Deepwater Horizon oil spill and can still be a productive year if visitors understand that the beaches are still attractive and open, area officials said Tuesday.

I hate to say it, but the wife and I have decided not to make the trip this year. We've got to plan vacation now and can not wait to see what the situation is in August/September.
Some of the pictures I'm seeing are just heartbreaking. We're hoping for the best for Gulf Shores and the entire Gulf shoreline.
