There is some new research from Dr. H. T. Badalli that suggests that the adolescent sage grouse are venerable to specific strains of the influenza virus. This research also suggests the west nile virus could be in part responsible for the recent decline in sage grouse numbers. Although this data is yet to be ratified It could be the news the west has been looking for.
