When will the public learn that driving under the influence is not a harmless act? This man had an existing warrant, and although it might seem unfair to assume he was drunk again without waiting for the toxicology results, we all know the truth: The system failed these three girls. Drunk driving is a crime that affects the most innocent members of society. Let your legislature know the current system is not tough enough. If we can save one more child, your calls and letters will be worth it.

It feels better for at least one person to know the truth. The teen driving was reaching in her floor board of the car when she drove into the other car.

These three girls failed everybody...they were drunk not the person with a history. Whats to say to that? More and more kids are drinking and theres nothing being done there...

when the facts from our local news are incorrect, and they air them anyway the public dose not know the truth only what they here from false brodcasting and peoples hearsay. the reports have not been released on the girls or mr chadwick. channel 25 news just wants to be the first to get in on a good story before they know all the facts. drinking and driving is wrong no matter what!!!the families of ALL ARE HURTING, SO EVERYONE NEEDS TO SLOW DOWN AND THINK BEFORE THEY SPEAK OR BRODCAST MAY LOVE BE WITH EVERYONE INVOLVED (VICTIMS, FAMILIES, AND FRIENDS

Only believe HALF of what the "news" tells you, then you will get HALF of the truth, which in fact will give you 1/4 of what really happened.

I wish to send my condolences to ALL involved. Drinking and driving is not acceptable at any time.

I AM THE WIFE OF ADAM CHADWICK(the brother) AND WOULD LIKE TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT THE REPORTS FROM THE FLORIDA HIGHWAY PATROL (the only department handling the accedient) HAS NOT RELEACED THE REPORTS AND CANNOT AND WILL NOT FOR A LONG TIME SO STOP THE BLAME GAME ON ALL THESE VICTIMS BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THIS SAD SITUATION IS A VICTIM.

You should know all the facts to the story before you go assuming that he was drunk again as you put it. You should be ashamed of your self and you comment I really hope that this You should not go posting comments on things you know nothing about. As far as him being arrested yes he was from 2004 but he learned his lesson so you need to know facts before you run your mouth. Oh by the way the girls hit him so get your fact corret first before opening your mouth. I am sure that you do not even know my husband you are just assuming that you know what your are talking about THINK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

We have more facts then the public does so if we are saying something it is because we know what happen. Do you have facts if not then you should not be opening your mouth and yes the girls parents as well as my husband should be repected but comments like yours is not respecting anyone so do us all a favor and just keep your comments to your self.

It would be nice if the new station would get the story straight instead of posted what ever they feel the need to post. This report is false in alot of ways. The should be ashamed of them selves for wanted to publish this story. No other news station is reporting on this accident but them and they are reporting on this story what ever they want to report not FACTS. IF THEY ARE GOING TO REPORT ON A STORY THEN THEY NEED TO HAVE ALL THE FACTS ABOUT THE STORY NOT JUST SOME OF THEM. MY HUSBAND IS JAMES CHADWICK AND HE WAS ON HIS WAY HOME NO NOT OUT JOY RIDING WHILE DRINKING LIKE THEY ARE MAKING IT OUT TO BELEIVE. This is a tragedy for everyone involved and my heart goes out to the familys of the girls but it also goes out to my husband for being made out to be the person at fault. FHP has not charged anyone at this time and the final report will take several months to determand who was at fault so they need not blame anyone at this time. I think that everyone involved with this has been through enough with out media trash. I have spoke to the news director about them posting this story and asked that this be removed until they have all the facts about the accident not just what they want to post and I am VERY ANGRY ABOUT THE WAY THEY HAVE POSTED THE STORY!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the reply about not assuming because of someone past history. That is just like if you done something as a child should we assume that you as an adult will do it then to? Think about that when you are pointing fingers at something you know nothing about!!!!!

I was there that night, he is a very close friend & like a brother to me, I got my facts from being there talking to cops & family, Yes he has a past & yes what the news is saying looks like he is at fault,BUT just because the show it on TV doesn`t mean its ALL true, They dont have all the facts, & yes it it sad one life was lost & four family are now forever changed but I was so angry that they dont even say that the girls could be anywhere in the wrong, the News failed us this time. They jumped in without all the facts, & there was no news on the street that night I know because from 10 pm till midnight I was sitting in my car waiting to go home on the street with the a line of people just waiting to go home, I saw the cars that where in the crash, the aftermath was so sad & no news cast where there, they just show up & tell you what they think happened & there still is no proof of fault, or proof of who was drunk, but if they are going to say he might of been, then the news should also say the girls may have been as well

You honestly think the news station really cares about a couple people think about their story...no! But I bet if a bunch of people went down there and told them to their faces, I bet they would start to care then.
