Even so, attorney David Kendall and other close aides to the Clintons begin pulling together records of the Clintons' involvement with McDougal, Whitewater and Madison Guaranty.

Vincent Foster, the closest partner to Hillary Clinton at the Rose Law Firm, had handled paperwork for the Clintons' most intimate finances. When they sold their Whitewater stake back to Jim McDougal in 1992, Foster represented them.

In 1993, the Clinton Administration's growing troubles weighed heavily on Foster. As deputy White House counsel, he filed three years of tax returns for the Whitewater investment on their behalf. At the same time, he was apparently distraught over the White House Travel Office scandal, in which Mrs. Clinton stood accused of cronyism.

On July 20, Foster was found shot to death in a suburban Washington, D.C., park. His death has been ruled a suicide by three investigations, including, reportedly, the ongoing probe led by Kenneth Starr. Federal and Senate investigators question whether records pertaining to Whitewater, including those detailing Hillary Clinton's controversial legal work, were removed from Foster's office by Clinton aides that night.

Under increasing pressure from the media on Whitewater, Hillary Clinton called a dramatic press conference in the East Wing of the White House in April 1994. She answered the questions with calm authority, momentarily silencing her critics.

She sought to put two nagging issues to rest:

First, reporters had discovered that Mrs. Clinton had realized a $100,000 return on a $1,000 investment in commodities futures back in 1979. Jim Blair, a friend and chief attorney for Arkansas food giant Tyson, had advised her. Now, the first lady said she had made the trades by herself. Later, she would admit that Blair and others had taken the lead.

Sen. Hillary Clinton has declined to return $170,000 in campaign contributions from individuals at a company accused of widespread sexual harassment, and whose CEO is a disbarred lawyer with a criminal record, federal campaign records show.
The federal government has accused the Illinois management consulting firm, International Profit Associates, or IPA, of a brazen pattern of sexual harassment including "sexual assaults,”“degrading anti-female language" and "obscene suggestions."
In a 2001 lawsuit full of lurid details, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission claims that 103 women employees at IPA were victimized for years. The civil case is ongoing, and IPA vigorously denies the allegations.
"This is by far, hands down, the worst case I've ever experienced," said Diane Smason, one of the EEOC lawyers handling the lawsuit. "Every woman there experienced sex harassment, they were part of a hostile work environment of sex harassment. And this occurred from the top down."
Sen. Clinton’s spokesman, Howard Wolfson, told NBC News in a statement that the senator decided to keep the funds because the lawsuit is "ongoing" and because none of the sexual harassment allegations has been proven in court. "With regard to the pending harassment suit, as a general matter, the campaign assesses findings of fact in deciding whether to return contributions," Wolfson said.
Allegations:
Adrienne Slick, who worked at IPA for seven months in 2000 and 2001 as a business coordinator and is now part of the EEOC suit, told NBC News in an interview that the sexual harassment was oppressive.“I had multiple managers come at me, press themselves up against me ... ask me to go home with them, and to a hotel room so they could fulfill their fantasies," she said.
She took contributions from IPA!!!!!!!!!! They even harass potential customers. You tell them not to call and they call and call and call. They've even showed up for an appt with the owner that they say they have and it is a lie. What's worse them or the mafia?

McCain is changing his position on immigration, and that may help his chances of getting elected. I doubt it though! GB Jr. has ruined any chance of a republican being elected in 08. Although Barak & Hilary (I think Bill would make a good "First Lady") both have some good idea's for the country, but their position on "illegal" immigration amnesty will destroy the US.
It's unfortunate that this election seems to be more of a contest to make a mark in history by the special interest groups (to either have the 1st woman pres. of the USA, or the 1st black pres. of the USA) than their platforms. No doubt they both have some good ideas, but...
Yes, Hilary has the experience in the White House. She is familiar with the politics and the processes, but that also could be a deficit if we are hoping for a change in the way our govt. operates.
No, Barak does not have the benefit of the White House, and that could be a positive to create change. We need someone that is less orthodox and familiar with the way things have "always" been done!
I think Huckaby would be a great pres. but he doesn't have a snowballs chance of getting through the primaries. He's anti-immigration and will never get the special interest groups behind him, and probably why McCain is adjusting (just a little to the left, very little!) his position on immigration, to get Mike's votes but still keep his support of the hispanic lobby. He's is cut from the "True" Republican mold!

But IPA's whole premise is they want to charge you money to show you how to run your company. If they can't run their own company how they supposed to run yours.

Every unsolicited so called appt with my boss that never made an appt with us looks like a bent nose, acts and talks like one too. Almost as if to warn us if we don't do business with them they'll hurt us. Hurt our business. Isn't that how the mafia works?

And Hill is taking money from these thugs?

Hillary, Obama and McCain will all continue the work of Bush when it comes to the North American Union.
http://www.webwire.com/ViewPressRel.asp...

The virtual fence has been a joke and a HUGE waste of tax payers $$$$$$. McCain, Obama and Hillary will continue the work of NAFTA. Trade is okay as long as American's aren't paying the price. Fair trade went out the door along time ago. The Nafta Super Highway will be built through Texas all the way through Minnesota to Canada. Three football fields wide. Those that are ignorant enough to think we need this highway because of traffic think again. Why are we getting so crowded? Why is everything being cemented over? Wake up people. We need a third party candidate! Romney or Ron Paul should have been in the top tier as candidates but the media (as big business) just wasn't having it. Our voting system is screwed up with machines that can be tampered with. People in California if registered as democrat or independent couldn't vote for Romney or Ron Paul because the Republican Party wouldn't allow you to cross over when voting. The candidates should be appealing to American's as a whole but why has the hispanic and black vote become so very important? As a family with many hispanics we want to be seen as American Citizens. We want to work our way to the top and not be pandered to.(Our government are the racists and bigots and won't stand up to the special interest groups like LaRaza (The Race) www.dontspeakforme.com

Don't we have wonderful choices for 2008? I'm a sick and tired for voting the the "lessor of two evils." However, IMHO, Herr Hillary Clinton is just plain evil, and I mean evil in the anti-Christ since of the world.

All she wants is POWER, and she will destroy anyone who get in her way.
