County Drug Investigator John Bloodworth obtained information that other lab components were arriving in the county and deputies then set up surveillance. A short time later, they arrested Richard Earl Reliford, 42, of Alma, Roy L. Delk, 34, of Homerville, and William Bradley Smith, 23 of Homerville. All three were charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.

Laken Crews Byrd, age 20, and Daniel Stephen Byrd, age 28, both of Bristol, were charged with possession of marijuana of less than an ounce.

And some people wonder why decent folks have been leaving the Bacon County area for years.......and taking their children out of the mess that it has become........The truth is; Bacon County people used to be known as a hard-working, church-going, help you any way they could, kind of folks........But, starting with the "Johnson Corner" and Scuffletown crowd, the few good folks left are "under seige" by a bunch of drug-growing, drug-making scum who will do anything for a dollar........I got my family out of there years ago, and have not looked back......I still have some school-mates down there and I pray for them and their families.........

Ok buckshot...glad you and your family were able to escape such a terrible place!!!! And you can leave "Johnson's Corner" out of it....I'm pretty sure you're basing your opinions from what you've "heard" and not what you "know"...just saying

And FYI buckshot, that happens to be my family and community and I have never heard of a meth lab out that way or of one being busted. If you're referring to the marijuana busts over the years I have to wonder about your comment "scum that will do anything for a dollar".. Do you really know what you're talking about or blowing air out of your a**??
