Area snowfall accumulations

The National Weather Service is reporting that Buncombe country receieved trace amounts of snow in some areas, while others report almost 2 inches of snow accumulation, with the northeast region of the county experiencing the most snowfall.

North of Weaverville we got about 2 inches and it is still snowing...overpasses are covered with snow..

Snow amounts vary all over. Parts of Yancey (please notice the E, staff reporters!) had 4-5", even in lower elevations.

I got just a smidge on the northside of the property and a little dab on the southside of the property here in Candler. In other words we didn't get squat! Dang!!!
