The Fairfield Co. and Perry Co. officals and citizens should be embarrased and assamed of the way they allow their dog warden to continue to "abuse" animals at their shelters. To allow the dog warden to make such a decision, is disgusting !And that these dog wardens choose such an abusive method, makes you qustion why they are in that position at all.Just the fact that some animals must be put down is bad enough. Let alone the fact of the cruel way they are allowed to do it.Carbon Monoxed is basicaly car exhaust fumes! This is nothing less than torture, before the animal dies. And that the state of ohio allows it to happen, is also disgusting! They are trying to pass new laws in regards to exotic animals but they allow the inhumune and undignified process of killing mans best friend!I hope the dispatch investigates this further. and exsposes these wardens and agencies for what they really are. I also hope that the citzens/taxpayers of these counties demand that they account for their actions, and change this final act of animal abuse, which the taxpayers are paying for and allowing to happen !!

They won't even gas criminals anymore because of how inhumane it is, these animals did nothing to deserve such a death sentence. Screw doing what's more affordable, do what's right.
