read my lips no new taxes and a law should be passed that all wages should be at least $20.00 per hr or better so people can afford there houses and expences.

Good we don't need the stadium! Not in Anoka County at least. We could not handle the crime that it would bring, our jail is overpopulated already! People sleeping on cots most weekends in the jail is NOT safe! If the stadium gets built it is going to cost tax payers even more money because we would HAVE TO build a new much larger jail too!

A stadium with a roof can be used year round for all kinds of events. This will BRING IN JOBS to an area that sorely needs them. Everything else is on the south side of the cities (Valleyfair, Canterbury Park, Casino, Renissance Festival, Murphy's Landing, etc.) Ever wonder why? Its because Tim Pawlenty, Carol Molneau, and other high powered politicians live on that side of town.

Without a new stadium, the Vikings will leave and the State of Minnesota will lose the revenue they generate.

Stadiums don't generally attract large numbers of criminals. Although I do agree there may be more arrests for drunken driving and disorderly conduct after each Vikings game, this is a minor issue.

Besides, with all of the new houses going up, we need to have a better balance. Blaine is way to big to be a "bedroom community".

It obviously did not go to Anoka and will be in downtown Minneapolis and the taxpayers are getting a raw deal when they pay for a wealthy private business owners new business, but where ever it is, it's never a minor issue when someone who has been drinking gets into a car and drives off. To many innocent people have died. Tailgating seems to be nothing but a drinking party. It should be stopped, not encouraged. Alcohol should be limited inside the stadium also.
