we have been asking our alabama state health depaartment to probe the high death rate at the birmingham dialysis clinics,they have ignored all request.we also asked the state to investigate threats to patients,positive dialysis machines being used by all patients[these are machines used by hepatitus patients]and staff borrowing money and cursing patients,the shortage of staff and denying patients monthly meetings for a year. recently we had aDaVita clinic in north birmingham close for a week.patients sent to emergency room and employees fired.contact me if you want more information about retaliation by management.we have contacted the ceo and coo no response.

I am an 18 year dialysis patient. In those 18 years I have seen the best and the worst when it comes to dialysis centers. Davita is the worst company when it comes to the safety and comfort of dialysis patients. I had an incident at my unit here in LA where the same arm rest pillow had not been cleaned in two days. There was blood all over it. When I asked the tech if they cleaned them. She said "we don't have to" Wow, I took my complaint to the facility manager. But, in my experience. Probably nothing will be done. Stay with Fresenious. You might not get extra frills like blankets, but you will get professionals doing there jobs.
