It is disgraceful that Ann Malleck and Dennis Rooker voted to allow a confessed and convicted sexual assaulter to continue serving on the Board of Supervisors. This board represents ALL of Albemarle County, NOT just Scottsville. This is outrageous and I hope the citizens of ALL of Albemarle County demand Christopher Dumler's immediate resignation. Sexual violence against women is inexcusable and intolerable, yet these board members don't seem to think so.

It's about time SARA said something in public about this creep. Better late than never. What nerve he had, accepting a "celebrity" bartender gig for them.
Can you believe he puts a happy face on his "statement" to ch29? Apparently he thinks this whole mess is funny and he's laughing at it all. Guess that explains his perpetual nasty smirk.

Was anyone a witness to their bedroom activities?

\No one had to be witness to anything. Dumler pleaded guilty to sexual assault. PERIOD.

This was breaking news yesterday on the Rob Schilling Radio Show. Certainly credit is due to Schilling, isn't it 29?

The victim was there and she said, GUILTY! Dumler was there, and he publicly admitted, in a court of law, under oath, that he was GUILTY! So two out of the two people there voted GUILTY! I wasn't there, so I guess I will just have to take his word for it. GUILTY!

This supervisor, Dumler, is the most arrogant elected officials in this region I can think of.

I understand why SARA didn't issue a statement until now- in this country we believe in innocent until proven guilty. Now that he has admitted guilt by giving his guilty plea, SARA wasted no time in condemning his actions.

Thank you, SARA, for always standing up for what is right. You are a true treasure in our community.

"Drop 'em like a bad habit!" Seriously though, his actions DO effect his job. He is now ineffective in his role, and a distraction (at best). Tyrants always resist removal.

I'm a Crozet resident and will never vote for Ann Mallek again unless she changes her position on Dumler. I'm tired of seeing that sick grin on his face. This situation is not funny.

Why have Democratic Party leaders not persuaded Dumler to step down for the good of everyone?

None of us were in the bedroom when whatever took place happened. Whatever Dumler does behind closed doors is his business. If the CA could have convicted him of a felony why did he choose to let him plea out to a lesser charge? Because he knew there was little chance of a conviction. My main concern is what Dumler does with my tax dollars.

On one side, he likely plead to a lesser charge because he wanted to be done with all of this, also because he didn't want to do more jail time than he had to. But the point is, he obviously didn't hear her the first time (in the bedroom). Hopefully now he understands, "SHE DIDN"T LIKE THAT AND DIDN"T WANT THAT, DUMBA--!"
SO why do we want someone on the BOS who can't hear or is too egotistical or presumptuous to listen?

Where's this creep from? I bet he has a history of unsavory behavior.
