We agree with you! However, it sure would be nice to see a reduction in taxes. We taxpayers deserve some relief. We do not remember a time where taxes stayed the same or were reduced. If there was a time where one or both occurred it was a very, very, very long time ago!

Fluvanna was one of the few localities that had our last assessments at the very top of the housing bubble, just before it popped. What happened? Did we get a decrease in our taxes? Of course not! We went through the entire housing crash with our assessed values untouched and our taxes were even increased!

Thanks to the latest demands by the Fluvanna schools, tax rates will actually go up 31.2%!

Between the unwanted high school and teacher raises, you might as well just open your wallets and take all your money to the schools now!

Taxes are going up, way up! This is all a lie! The huge increase demanded by the schools will drive up our tax rates over 25%!

the problem is the schools. they drove taxes skye high year after year until Fluvanna taxes are the highest in virginia. A
