They already foisted an unwanted new high school on us! Now we are going to invite criminals to sponge off the taxpayers just like the teachers do?!?! It will be hard to even tell them apart and the bill will just double again for the poor overtaxed people of Fluvana!
Pls be thoughtful

What a wonderful idea, wish you ladies the very best. Hope you have considered about insurance, legalities for your programs safety & for yourselves. Your religious background helps assure the program success, welcomes you all to help others in time of need thats a wonderful thing! Please consider NOT all people (community & ex inmates) share your strong religious views nor have the strong faith in your program format. Working 35 years in NY corrections & with a faith base rehabilitation for female inmates I will inform you that many of these ex inmates issues will present themselves very early on in yr program & in your community. So will you be able to handle so many of ex imates issues properly. Will your staff can be able to assist them 24 hrs, it is a daunting undertaking that can be done if doen right. Several programs started over the years for ex inmates by religious groups to help women nation wide, start & closed there doors by there states quickly with legalities and charges of improper management. Doors to these programs close because of ex imates in fighting, vandalism, theft, community disturbance, in house drug dealing, sex issues, improper insurance coverage of the home, improper mental & safty issues of staffing to cover legalities for these program's. Thus cripple the programs intentions before they can do any good! Your kindenst can & will be taken advantage of by recovering addicts & needy hanger on's of ex inmates. Ladies you will give great help to a few to assist them to move forward in there lives thats a blessing. Please think hard & be safe. Short time care after jail for these women is needed, but long term Proper care is what is needed the most a daunting task! Fluvanna does not offer much in the way of jobs, public understanding, religiouse variances of all faiths, nor public transportation to jobs and proper community responses. Good luck be prepared & be safe God bless!
sez you

Nice idea but I wonder about the goal, need to leave the church at home when dealing with those in need like this.
