You are such and idiot. I have read your other post regarding another accident. It's sad you make light of these deaths instead of sympathizing for loss of life and families that are grieving them.

Get heart and keep your idiotic comments to your self.

I heard they were two cars speeding and they were all over the road. They passed a co worker of mine a few miles back.

Misinterpreted. Definately a sarcastic post, but certainly not directed at the accident victims, but at police and 29 news reporting. When you read these reports, I don't see how you could disagree. Very important story...just get on it and get some firm data to pass to the public. A little more effort would go a long way here. 29 News is still my choice for the area, and I'm a fan of the news team, but Cmon Man...step it up just a bit. Sympathy and prayers to all involved.

I was in the backup on 64 last night and saw several news vans racing to cover the crash, competing for space on the crowded highway with multiple emergency vehicles. I agree that the public needs to know what happened as quickly as possible, but it was difficult enough for the ambulances to get through, let alone the TV reporters. The wreckage was incredible. Please drive safely, everyone.

Nobody is saying you have to get this info on the website "right now". Take a little extra time, get some good reportable data and THEN post the story. Police public affairs officers can assist with getting out pertinent complete information. It is a team effort to keep the public informed. Again, like NBC 29, but there is room for improvement. God Bless to all involved, and by all means drive safely.

Ah, but that's the rub... you DO have to get it up on the website, right now, to be competitive, & it DOES have to be accurate enough not simply to cause further angst among those who might be relatives or friends of victims. That is the essence of responsible, in addition to timely, reporting.

I was just minutes ahead of the accident. I am so vry sorry for the victims in this accident. I pray the one causing the accident is ok and if it was a medical issue with him, that he get the treatment he needs. Sad to know at 25, he has killed someone though :( Prayers for all!

More importantly, why on earth was the girl only charged with reckless driving when someone in the other car died?!? At the very least, should this not have been involuntary manslaughter?

If you are talking on a cell phone or texting it is easy to become distracted and ram someone in front of you at 65 or 70 MPH.

Four people in the other car severely injured and one of them dies, but the driver who caused the accident is not injured. Life is just not fair.
