2-year-old boy drowns in Wyoming canal

The Albany County Sheriff's Office says a 2-year-old boy who fell in the Pioneer Canal was swept away from the current.

Once again!!! Where were the parents? To let your kid play by the river? who was supervising? the 6 year old. I would like to see why this little boys hand was not being held while he was playing by water.

I AM SURE THE PARENTS ARE GRIEVING TERRIBLY AT THIS MOMENT FOR THE LOSS OF THEIR CHILD; HOWEVER, WHO WAS SUPPOSE TO BE WATCHING THE CHILDREN? I AM SURE THE 6 YEAR OLD WAS NOT IN CHARGE; AND YOU CAN NOT BLAME THE 6 YEAR OLD FOR NOT HOLDING THE OTHER CHILDS HAND. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN 2 CHILDREN PLAY AND HOLD HANDS AND THE SAME TIME? STILL, MY CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY.

Please consider a story on the Invisible Children event that was held in Parker over the weekend. It was attended be a couple Thousand people, mostly youths, with the express intent of rasing awareness of the plight of refugees in Uganda. It was peaceful, moveing and inspriring the kind of event we all want to see more often. It is part of a nation wide movement on that night. Take a look at last years video, it will give you chills.
