You just answered your own question. She could have been drunk or speeding, hence the charges. You can also be charged with the damage to the persons yard and the sat. dish. Whether they will charge or not is as always with any case, pending an investigation, which is normal procedure.

Yes, just a few more details on the charges would clafify the story much more. I surely hope the police can take her survival trapped for so long into account. I mean, if she were bleeding she could have bled to death, not to mention the dehydration. I hope she has insurance.

I am glad she is okay. People outhere need to do some research or just stop hiding the fact that 50% of the people who drive on this road are drunk? How many people have to get hurt before people wakeup. Stop drinking and driving.

The 17-year old daughter of a good family friend of mine is among those kids who found her. They said the woman needed water and they broghbt her water & blankets until help arrived. She feels that God put her in the right place at the right time. It really has been an experience for her, and she is glad the woman will be just fine. Great story and Thanks be to God for using those kids to hear her.
