Microsoft Picks Virginia Over Alamance County For Data Center
Alamance County lost its bid to lure a Microsoft data center to the Piedmont. Microsoft chose to locate the center in Mecklenburg County, Virginia.

My question is where are visitors going to eat, stay, socialize or shop? There is one restaurant & no hotels, bars or fast food for 15 miles either side.
I don't think everyone who is claiming this as a big score, knows that they are going to used to civilization, not Mayberry 1970...
They came here cause it is cheap but keep in mind, they are dropping mobile equipment & can move it at will... If Town council don't get with it, they could lose the golden goose...
