Anywhere and EVERYWHERE you choose to drive is totally at your own risk. It is that way everywhere.

Why do people think they need to have great big signs alerting them to the highways within Florida?

I have been living on the East Coast for all of my life. Maine to Florida, if you go out in your car, it is your responsibility to drive defensively.
Why does this State feel they need rob Peter to pay Paul? Next you'll be at the Statelines filling out insurance papers Just to be here.
Driving in smoke or fog is the drivers' problem, not the Highway Patrols'.

I guess that it might be enough to expect motorists to take more responsiblity is asking too much. Take the keys away and remove their license, no matter who they are, Send them back to wherever they are from.

I have been in this state 10 years, and experienced 2 accidents. One I was faulted for, although I was on the "roadway" first. OK. The state assumes that you are under the influence if you cause an accident. YA!Maybe FL's signs should warn them of that!

The second,5 years ago, I consider myself to have been fortunate to "walk away" alive. The other Driver wasnt so lucky. I ended up suiing my own insurance cause that guy didnt even have a license, and I never was told in 10 months, what happened to him.(Like a stroke or Heart attack)...

With the cost of vehicles, and insurance, I think the State should rest on this one. No Sign is going to slow down an a__ hole. Nothing is that precious to the individual to respect his fellow drivers.

I cant believe that they didnt cut this size into pieces like we all have to do this for.

Makes a perfect example, showing the amount of Money they want to waste on Idiot Drivers.

Give it 1/8th of the amount and make the prisoners produce something for thier time

How hard can it be to remind people not to out drive the distance they can see. If they cant see then get well off the side of the road, like any courtious driver would do.
