Let's celebrate our independence by submitting ourselves to traffic stops lacking in probable cause.

If I get to continue being alive with a lesser risk of being killed by some drunken moron, then go ahead and pull me over.

Yesterday the freedom movement was one vote away from having the (already watered down) Second Amendment destroyed forever. Had the vote been 5-4 in favor of absolute gun control, would you still be licking the boots of the Supreme Court?

Will there be members of MADD riding in the patrol cars telling the police who is drunk?

I know of several people who drink and drive AND drink while boating all the time! I think the "beefed up" police presence and checkpoints are very much needed! I would arrest them myself..if I could!

Dear drunks:
This notice does not meet the Supreme Court requirement of adequate notice to avoid.
Any lawyer worth his blood money will get you off.
Pennsylvania, if you're going to do it, do it the right way and stop wasting money on cases that will get thrown out of court.

They have accompanied the officers at the checkpoints in the past. There was even an article about them helping. Not sure how they were informed to be there. Sounds like some of the public is informed exactly where the checkpoints are and some aren't.

Thweye are at checkpoints only to hand out literature. The public must be informed in order for the checkpoints to be legal.

They have to disclose the exact location of the checkpoints and the criteria(checking every 3rd car, checking every blue car) so the people who do not want to go through it can avoid the area. They also have to announce which part of the county they will have roving patrols. This is the criteria that makes it constitutional.

I bet they will be driving around too in their personal vehicles with their 2 way radios calling the police if they see someone go over the yellow line.

If I ever go through a checkpoint and they tract me with literature I will tear it up and throw it on the ground.I would gladly take a littering fine over reading their propoganda.
