Moul has become silent incumbent

There are 28 comments on the Evening Sun story from May 30, 2010, titled Moul has become silent incumbent. In it, Evening Sun reports that:

In a season where we, the people of the 91st legislative district in Adams and Franklin counties, are preparing to decide if we will again entrust you to represent our interests in the State Legislature in Harrisburg, I; as one of those same voters, publicly demand that you identify your position on two key local issues which will come before you ...

Thank you all for your comments regarding my letter. Unfortunately not unlike every other posting on Topix or the Evening Sun it has migrated into a discussion of "casino" good or bad?- My intension was to identify that it isn't simply the casino issue that has Mr. Moul silent. For reasons that others have expressed here he will not identify his position on that but he also will not express his intensions regarding the sexting proposal, the illegal immigration proposal, ANY concept of property tax elimination, his support or not for a limited Constitutional Convention to reform our state government..the list goes on and on.... heck it appears to me that there has only been one hole Mr. Moul has been successful in "filling in"...the sink hole in Conewago Twp. It certainly hasn't been the gaps in his legislative philosophy. We await anxiously on when that expansive abyss will be addressed.

Just for everyone's information - that political stunt that he pulled by going out to Edgegrove and stand next to that sinkhole - that didn't work either. The road is still blocked - so in effect he also did nothing on that issue also. Poor Mr. Moul - getting beat up and he refuses to even defend himself. If he awake???

Yes to the Tea party movement. Moul needs to take a stand, as he did in his first term to gain the respect. Have an opinion and stand your ground in the public view. That is why you had a great following. Gambling, immigration should be addressed give the poeple the option to agree or disagree with you. Your a man that deserved respect, I think alittle different now. Vote none of the above. You should just quit.

What all the hype about these damn casinos?? Its not like its dead-center of the battle field or at devils den. They can build a gigantic harley dealership and everyone is fine with that. Like bikers have any higher morals then gamblers?

Now on to Dan, Someone said above about special interest groups. Ask Dan what his ties are with UTZ-Mike Rice. His wife works in the office, so Im sure Mike contributed to dan's campaign. But at what price?

I think it is great that good citizens are putting pressure on Moul to announce a firm position on the issues you identify! We do not need the kind of politicians whose primary motivation is to keep their jobs. We need our representatives to actually represent us!

Are there any democrats here?- I'd like to hear what Derf Maitland stands for. I've been to his website and he addresses NOTHING!- What is going on with these local politicians? Used to be we could at least get local people to stand up and tell us the straight poop!

I'm ready to vote for a write in candidate if we can find one - anyone up for a good fight?
