Two different scenarios. From what I know of the NO fatality, while she may have been driving at a high speed, she did not flee from the police, breaking numerous laws along the way!
she was high from huffin! driving under the influance of a controled substance law broken!

There shouldn't be a doubt in anyone's mind what happened and who's responsible for this tragedy!

I have been reading these posts for that past week or so now. The lack of consideration for both families are beyond words.
First of all this is a young boy.. The age of 18 does not come with a "label" that guides us to make all the right decisions. I am sure when all was going down, he was not thinking clearly, nor had any intentions of harming ANYONE! Think about it people and put yourself in this situation, would you feel good about harming someone? Who are we to judge the way Zach feels? what by his facebook postings? This does not document his 24 hour thoughts. We do not know what thoughts he shares with his family and closest friends.... so we crucify him for not showing remorse in public? The argumental comments are not making things any better for the Gilbert family or the Kennedy family for that matter. Both families have a long road to healing.
I know someone who this has happened too, and the bottom line is, whether you want to believe it or not Zach has been paying for this accident since the day it happened and will for the rest of his life. This was not an intentional, malice act. There are two families that have lost...LET THEM BE !!!!!!!

We're a society where many people regardless of their age want and do whatever they feel like doing and then when it harms or kills someone else their immediate defense is I didn't mean it! Sorry bub but that just doesn't cut it in this case. Every decision made by KENNEDY in this situation was the wrong one and he's had a history of reckless, self-centered behavior. This time it killed a good innocent young man who happened to get in the path of his escape route. Whether he has any remorse or not he's gonna learn it's not always about yourself but how you can fit into society and co-exist.

Reading all this bs makes me want to puke. First and foremost you people need to get a life, become Attorneys or Pastors, maybe even a Judge since you seem to be so smart and know it all. Lets look at the real picture, we all have done things as kids that should have us in a similar situation or even dead. Here is the bottom line God forgives us of our sins so who do any of you think you are? As to the police, I am sure if the trooper had it to do over again he would have not handled the chase the way he did. Since when is it a life for a life and what would that solve in the grand scheme of things. The fact that Justin lost his life is sad and I feel bad for the family but Zach could have lost his as well and God spared it for some reason. By reading the post it doesn't appear many of you are christians so that is your cross to bare. Let god be with both families as they go through this. In closing it would be great to see a little maturity from most of you!!!!!

Thanks for putting us all in our places opinion. The policeman was wrong the way he handled the situation and probably should have called off his chase? We posters should be more tolerant of KENNEDY's series of self-centered choices that resulted in the early death of a good person minding his own business? And finally GOD spared KENNEDY because he has a greater plan for him? You were right about one thing. There is BS being posted here and its all coming from you!

Get to the point all you post are useless words, you have no control of the outcome of this so why don't you get a life, a job or better yet put your mouth to something useful. I vote you run for president, I am sure with all your wisdom you could fix the country.
