I'm glad that the local losers finally did their research and have no more denials regarding the Gettysburg Gang Crisis. I'm guessing that it took a while for the posts to get translated into cartoon drawings, but finally all the locals understand now.

I would now like to point out that the witness intimidation that is taking place in Gettysburg is to be expected when gangs and violent criminals are allowed to run amok.
Once this happens, there's no turning back. These violent gangsters aren't going to go away just by asking them nicely. Gettysburg is in the toilet and it's because of the gangs.
HOw could they regain control of their town?

. The town never lost control. This can be supported by facts. Meanwhile you both can wallow in the glory of your "victory" in Topix. Hoist by one's own petard! LMAO!

It wasn't a gang. Please read the article.

It was a gang. I urge you to use common sense, borrow some from a friend outside of Gettysburg if you have to.
Gangs threaten victims and witnesses. That's what we have here.
they hide it all, all in the name of tourism. Locals may hate "outsiders" but they still need their tourist dollar to run the town

This is the biggest reason, I agree. They spout off about how awful the tourists are, but without them, their town would be a highway rest stop, at best.
Living that lie all these years has to eat them up on the inside, dare say maybe they deserve the gang problems? Like karmic retribution?
After being 'attacked" by a few of the locals for posting about Boyd's closing, I think the local community has some real anger issues.
They don't like tourism, they don't like outsiders, and some don't even like their own neighbors.
The problem is SOME of the locals giving their community a bad name.

I wonder how the locals will handle the safety of their children during trick or treat

Sadly, the recent rise in violent crime has caused Gettysburg residents to rethink the traditional middle-American ritual of trick-or-treating with regards to their children.
To be honest, I don't think children should be out in Gettysburg after dark. So do many locals with common sense.
thank you for your comment, its refreshing to get a civil, intelligent reponse on these boards.

LOL! Can you imagine how hard it must be for those bigmouths to keep their traps shut?

I am absolutely loving the reality of it all. The more frank and earnest discourse that takes place, the better off Gettysburg will be in the long run.

Gettysburg needs more people like you whom are truly concerned on the well being of the town, and not the local fake concern. I noticed their "concern" is only posting and looking to fight with someone/anyone.

I agree with this 100%.

Notice how they ran away after getting their tails paddled by Mssrs. Gratman and Costard.
