Weikert and Phiel= cut from the same good old boy network. Electing Phiel will only be Weikert 2.0. No change and everything stays the same.
Did you know Stan Clark gave to Weikert's campaign, so they are connected.

Moose, sounds like you have all the answers maybe you should run for commissioner
Don't have all the answers but I can see what those in there now are trying to do. If you're not on their side of the fence, they are not your friend. Trying to inform others so they can see, too.

People, there is more to being a commissioner than the reassessment stuff. I appreciate electing people who are passionate about 1 topic, like reassessment, but does that get us the best official?

Eventually, reassessment will be long behind us. Who will be left in office to serve?

County is a big business, and needs to be run that way. Kellet, Martin, Weikert, Moreno are all significantly lacking in key areas. Hell, Kellet is just a moronic blowhard who rarely knows what he is talking about, but talks to feel important.

I dont know who to vote for. I do know who NOT to vote for, see above.

Well you could vote for Dave Reindollar--as he stated to me his best accomplishment in business turnarounds was leaving behind a management team that could get the job done. We need leaders who can train good leaders to fill in when their gone. I disagree with you on Jim Martin---I went over the Adams County Budget with him and he is well aware of senseless county spending that can be eliminated--and he was at the Board Meetings protesting the reassessment before any of the other Republican candidates!

Actually I endorse Paul Kellet. He has more intelligence than you and I together. Really. And he is for the everyday people in this county. Do not for get what he gives back to the community without bloviating about it. Whoever you decide is your candidate - just make sure you do your American right to vote. Don't take it for granted that the other guy is going to do it for you.

Phiel was in charge of the reenactment in 2003 telling the newspapers that attendance was around 30 to 40 thousand people, but when the entertainment tax was due they only paid taxes on 7 thousand people. The Supervisors only comment was,'we can't post people at the gate to check heads'. Nothing else was said, tax payers got screwed again. This was published in the Gettysburg Times. Recently, he got his clan to eliminate slot taxes which would have helped Cumberland taxes if the casino was for real, on grounds that this tax couldn't be enforced. While preaching about reducing taxes, he continues to slam taxpayers. Do we really want double talking politicians for commissioners that represent fat cats?
