I'm thinking all the talk about rebuilding is bs. More likely going to take the insurance money and go. Just sayin'. Business couldn't have been that good.

Re-building is not BS, as stated by John Doe. Contractors have already been to the site to make plans for a modest rebuild. This is a Gettysburg area destination loved by locals and tourists alike, so a fire in July (busiest tourist time) is horrible timing, especially in the best year the store has ever had. I would suggest that those who wish to comment but do not know the true story, refrain from doing so. This borders on harassment and is truly sick.

this has been a roadside neat attraction on Route 30 for years, much like many throughout the nation... it's kitchy and fun...so hopefully it will be rebuilt ...stop the bitterness and "easy" passive-agressiveness by hiding behind a computer screen

Why publish a story when the word "possibly" is used? It's more responsible to wait until the final verdict has been rendered. Further, it's irresponsible for Mr. Sarver to have commented on an ongoing investigation. Tacky.

I agree but what is really "tacky" is a candy shop full of elephant trinkets.

Have you ever been there? I have. It's the most fabulous place on earth, truly. You should stop by after they rebuild. I think you'll change your mind.

It's called an OPINION. So why don't you tell us the "true" story?
