Okay, so this takes place...five alarm fire at a nursing home or Uncle Jed's you respond, because you suspended service to Mount Joy? Do you not have the guts to say, heck wih that decision, these folks need us now? I remember this topic earlier in the year being dicussed.

Chick, you may not know it, but there are places in this country,(not in Adams County or the commonwealth of Pennsylvania that I know of) where you have to donate to the fire department or they will not put your fire out. They will respond and protect the neighboring properties but let your fire burn. If while they are there, you provide them with a cash payment (no check or credit cards) they will extinguish your fire. They will protect lives but not property of those who do not pay.

As for the situation in Mt, Joy Township, if the fire departments do not have a contract with the township, Iím not sure if they can respond into the township. That will be something for the legal people to determine.
