UCF is indeed one of, if not the top, crown jewel in Florida's technology efforts. UCF has come a long way since its beginnings, when we students were parking in the mud and there were only 3 or 4 buildings that made up the campus. I'm so proud of my university, and I am always pleased to tell anyone who asks about UCF and its many contributions in many fields. You've come a long way, baby! Way to go, UCF!

We should have kept the name Florida Tech, then we wouldn't have the stigma that most directional schools receive.
