Chick-fil-A latest to play with fire

Full story: Columbus Dispatch

Chick-fil-A wants people to try its new peach milkshake -- so much so that it is offering a year's worth of free shakes to the first 100 customers in line at each of five Columbus-area restaurants at 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Dumb Idea of The Month .......... So far
The worst was the $1.50 flip flops at Old Navy that had sold for 2 pr for $5.
So you stand in line to save a buck .... 2 hours ???? Makes no sense what some people will do because word FREE or they think they are getting a bargain .... Sucker born every minute ???? Nope in Columbus
retalers see it as every split second. Time has no value to some people.

These money saving promotions are GREAT!!! BUT, people have to be patient. I found that if I wait a day or two before redeeming any coupons I will get much better service.
As far as the KFC promo, when my parents went to get their free meals, KFC had run out of the chicken so my parents filled out a form and were sent coupons in the mail which included a drink with their meal---something we didn't get in the original offer.

Yep. Sorry but I wont stand in any line for even a 1/2 hour to save a buck. I wont stand in line to wait to be seated in a restaurant either. Not worth it.

I already tried the milkshake and wasn't impressed. At the time they were giving away free ones later in the day. I purchased one so I would know if it was worth standing in line. Sorry, not just for something free. NO!

It's not because of the times. It's because people can't control themselves and just need something to blame it on.

Just because you had to stand in a long line for some free chicken or didn't get any, doesn't give you the excuse to throw a fit and get unruly.

Suck it up, take some responsibility for yourself, and then reflect upon the fact that life isn't fair.

Seriously. Just because you can't get free stuff or have to stand in line doesn't give a person the right to lose their temper. Control yourself like a damn adult instead of acting like a 6 year old.
