Figures...greedy people who are upset they didn't get their "free stuff", and shark lawyers who feed off the system.

Maybe if they would get off of their keasters and get a job, they wouldn't need a free handout.

Give me a break!

Thank God for a court system that has nothing better to do than handle lawsuits over $5 chicken dinner coupons.

So you had a coupon! The stores don't have a neverending supply of food on hand and they can (and did) run out. Just come back another day! Why do people have to be so ignorant?

Seriously? These people don't have more important things to get that upset about?? Pathetic.

Get a grip. A company that is too dumb to realize that lots of people will want free stuff - with no strings attached, deserves what they get. Fire the people in promotions and advertising. A lawsuit may be extreme, but it is clearly the company's fault.

I would always complain that I had no shoes,

Until I met the man with no feet.

This Lady in Northridge (who is suing) needs a reality check. I'll bet she thinks we are all 'missing her point' but I'll also bet she is missing ours.

Wake uo woman and use that energy to FEED a child who went to bed hungry last nite. There is probably one less than a mile from yor home.

Actually, fire the legal department who didn't add "while supplies last" to the coupon

Please note -- the store was able to keep selling grilled chicken and biscuits. The story says so. They just stopped at 100 for the day. So, they didn't 'run out'... they just stopped honoring coupons. That is deceptive, if the coupon doesn't say 'first 100 customers per store' on it.

The company used a cheap trick to get people in its stores, figuring once they're in the store and hungry, they'll buy something. It was a blatantly deceptive practice. They could tell how many people were downloading the coupon, so they knew what demand would be. If it was too much, they could have pulled it off their web site.

The company lied, it cost people time and money, its exactly the kind of situation a class action lawsuit can remedy. For all the complainers, if you like getting ripped off, then go be sheep. Personally, when a company wastes my time, I'm grateful for a lawyer who will teach them that my time is actually worth something.

So I said, "Hey man! Got any shoes you aren't using?"

It helps to be pragmatic.

KFC left a bad taste in my mouth.
I also attempted to use a coupon and went out of my way to a KFC only to find a sign on the window saying that they were not accepting the coupons. I am a regular at Popeyes. This coupon enticed me to sample KFC. All this promotion did was make me feel better about doing business with Popeye's.

This promotion really did feel like bait and switch. I hope all the people who were disappointed vow to never set foot in a KFC again.

This just proves that we have devolved into a crazy, litigious society. People need to get a life and stop looking to get rich quick. Bunch of losers.

A lot of time and money wasted by consumers to get something free is now being wasted because they could not. KFC should not be held liable for consumer folly.
